My name is Scott Baxter. I am a husband and a father. My wife, Monika, teaches communication disorders at Richard Stockton College. My son, Michal, is 15 and my daughter, Marta, is 10. I earned a Ph.D. from Purdue University in 2005 and travelled the world teaching English as a second language, writing, linguistics, and applied linguistics in Poland, Bulgaria, and Lebanon. I lived in North Dakota until August 2014. I now live in South New Jersey, about half an hour away from the beautiful Atlantic Ocean.
